Mare Mare’s place to ramble on…..

3 days away….

I am anxiously awaiting tryouts for “Little Shop of Horrors” Monday night.  I feel a little out of place by auditioning for a new group of people and not really knowing anyone, but at least Travis will be there for some support (And maybe Jamy?). 

I was a bit alarmed to hear that they aren’t having a chorus.  I had hoped if I didn’t get one of the main parts, I could still participate by being in the chorus, but I guess we’ll just have to wait and see. 

I was asked if I was a theatre junkie last week.  Yes, I am.  I’m hooked, I need it to survive.  It’s the one thing I can do and do well.  I need regular doses, and I’m starting to go through withdrawals.  It’s been 4 months since I’ve been on a stage.  I’m going nuts.  I need help. Seriously.

Please send happy thoughts and wishes my way for Monday night. 

P.S….are these open auditions where people can sit in and watch?

   Me 2. It has been 4 MONTHS. I”M GOING CRAZYYYYYYYYYYYY! Darn FCF anyway! Look at it this way: who was it in January who came over to a new group and felt totally welcome? I was apprehensive until I walked in the first night and was told that “You must be a Shaffer!” And after, I still am in contact with at least 3 of you! You joined our group (or a part of it) and haven’t even been on one of our stages. It will be interesting to see LS done with a cast of 8. Break a leg and see you both Monday!!! What do you mean “maybe Jamy?” She not know me very well do she “Little Shop of Whores,” indeed.

   Hey,
   I know I was a little alarmed when I heard no chorus too. I was told they didn’t need a chorus but then during the parade, TIm said that they might have one. I can kind of understand to not have one bc of the limited space but I never heard of not having one..Especially for the beginging song. BTW, heard you kicked butt at auditions, not surprising, I knew you would!! ttyl:)
